Honda Gressini



Gresini Racing is a motor racing team that competes in MotoGP with the San Carlo Honda Gresini name. The team was founded in 1997 by Fausto Gresini after retirement became a racer. He is a two-time world champion in the 125cc GP class.

The team was brought down in the GP500 with Alex Barros and Honda NSR500. When GP500 changed to MotoGP, the team is based in Italy, using Telefonica Movistar Honda name. Using the Honda RC211V, Gresini recruit drivers from Japan, Daijiro Kato.

But in 2003 the team was overwhelmed with grief for the death of the main rider Daijiro Kato. Racers pride of the country that the sun, having accidents at Japan's Suzuka circuit 2003. While his teammate, Sete Gibernau won 4 series and occupy second podium dedicated to Kato. Achievement Gibernau continues etched in 2004-2005 to become the strongest rival time world champion, Valentino Rossi. Achievement Gibernau at Gresini Racing's even better than that is the Repsol Honda team.

Gresini Racing in 2011 appeared with a fresh format, using two of the former world champion in the 250cc GP class Hiroshi Aoyama and Marco Simoncelli. Simoncelli died after an accident at the Sepang circuit for the 2012 season and his position is replaced by Alvaro Bautista.


Ducati Team



Ducati Corse S.r.l. is part of the Ducati motorcycle manufacturer which is a division that handles the entire automotive activities of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer. Currently led by Ducati Corse Claudio Domenicali division of labor for the Vittoriano Guareschi to MotoGP and World Superbike duties for parts to Ernesto Marinelli. Ducati Corse itself headquartered in the city of Bologna, Italy, and employs over 100 people (10% of which comes from the parent company ie Ducati). [1] Ducati Corse is currently competing in MotoGP and World Superbike championships and national level.


Honda Team


Repsol Honda is one sepedan motorcycle racing team that competed in MotoGP. This team is a team of the manufacturer of the Honda, and began to enter MotoGP in 1995. Since then manufacturers from Japan is directly transformed into a terrifying force and is one of the most successful teams in the history of MotoGP.


Mick Doohan gave Repsol Honda's many achievements, the Australian GP win five titles in a row from 1994 to 1998. Another rider who gave successful Honda is Valentino Rossi, two world titles awarded The Doctor in 2002 and 2003 before moving to Yamaha.


After the era Rossi, Repsol Honda Team Nicky Hayden and then signing Alex Barros in the 2004 season. Unfortunately their performance was disappointing because it can not compete from Honda satellite team, Sete Gibernau and Max Biaggi.


2006 Honda regain the world championship title with Hayden. Although only bagged two wins all season rider Rossi surpass the United States through the dramatic competition.


Kid Kenthucky performance is not stable in the last two seasons, the Repsol Honda rider has now turned his attention to the young Daniel Pedrosa. After sitting in the top five in his debut season, Pedrosa went on to become runner up in the 2007 world champion.


Yamaha Tech 3


Tech 3 Team is a motor racing team currently competing in MotoGP. Yamaha satellite team was founded by former racing driver Herve Poncharal and two technicians, Guy Coulon and Bernard Martignac. Yamaha Tech 3 based in France.

They begin to participate in the grand prix series following the 250cc class in 1990. At that time they used Honda and Suzuki motorcycles. In 1999 they decided to switch to Yamaha, the decision was wrong because a year later they both riders, Olivier Jacque and Shinya Nakano, took first and second in the 250cc class.

In 2001, they decided to move to a higher class with Yamaha to continue to rely on Jacque and Nakano.

Yamaha Tech 3 is known to frequent disassembly racer. Season 2004 reinforced Marco Melandri and Norick Abe. In 2005 Ruben Xaus wear and Toni Elias, while for the 2006 line-up changed again with Carlos Checa and James Ellison. Tech 3 started the 2012 season well by finishing fourth by Crutchlow and Dovizioso fifth in the MotoGP series premiere held at the Losail circuit, Qatar.


Forward Racing


The team started competing in the MotoGP class as Hayate Racing Team, a scaled down version of the Kawasaki factory team that withdrew from MotoGP for the 2009 championship due to the economic crisis. The team took its name from the Japanese wordHayate meaning hurricane. The team ran one Kawasaki ZX-RR motorcycle that was ridden by Marco Melandri. Kawasaki stopped developing new parts for the motorbike in March 2009, meaning Kawasaki's involvement was limited to servicing and maintaining the motorcycle for the rest of the 2009 season. Despite this, Melandri achieved a remarkable result in coming second at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans in May.

In 2010, they participated in the new Moto2 class, with Jules Cluzel and Claudio Corti as their riders on Suter bikes. Cluzel won the British Grand Prix and finished 7th in the championship. Corti had a pole position for the same race, but his best result was ninth at Misano. In 2011 the team competed with Cluzel and Alex Baldolini, later replaced byRaffaele de Rosa. The best result was a fourth place clinched by Cluzel at the British Grand Prix.

The team is scheduled to return to MotoGP in 2012 as one of the Claiming Rule Teams and signed Colin Edwards in September 2011. It was later announced that the team will use a Suter chassis with a BMW engine.[5]

In November 2011, Forward Racing signed Alex de Angelis and Yuki Takahashi for the 2012 Moto2 Championship.


Yamaha Factory Racing


Yamaha Motor Racing or Yamaha Factory Racing is the official factory team of Yamaha in MotoGP.[1] It founded in 1999 following the retirement of Wayne Rainey, who had run a factory-supported team in the 500 cc class for the previous two years.[2] The team was originally based in the Netherlands but was relocated in Italy in 2002.

Max Biaggi and Carlos Checa raced for the team from 1999 to 2002. Max Biaggi achieved a total of 9 race wins in that period, first riding the Yamaha YZR500 and later the Yamaha YZR-M1 in 2002.

In 2003, Checa was joined by Marco Melandri. The team had an average season with no wins or podiums.
For 2004 Valentino Rossi joined Carlos Checa at the team. Rossi got 9 wins and won the championship.
Colin Edwards joined the team for 2005. Rossi once again won the championship, collecting 11 wins.
Both riders stayed with the team for 2006. Rossi earned 5 wins and finished 2nd in the championship.

For the 2007 season, both riders remained with the team riding the new 800cc Yamaha YZR-M1. Rossi had 4 wins and finished the season 3rd overall. For 2008, Yamaha had a unique line-up with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Although the pair were fighting for the title from different pit boxes (as Valentino Rossi chose to use Bridgestone tyres and as Jorge Lorenzo continued with Michelin), Yamaha operated as one brand and not two separate manufacturers. The title was won dominantly by the returning hero Rossi who won 9 of the 18 races and finished on the podium in every race except for two. Even though this was the learning year for Jorge Lorenzo, the Spanish star was able to cruise to victory at Estoril and finished 4th in the championship. In 2009, Yamaha dominated MotoGP with Rossi winning the title and Lorenzo finishing second. The pair won 10 out of the 17 races, and Yamaha won the Constructors' Championship.


Aspar Team 


The team was created by former world champion Jorge Martínez. After his career ended in 1997, he continued to create and manage the Mapfre Aspar team.

In the 2010 season, Aspar team rider Nicolas Terol finished second in the 125cc class, while teammate Bradley Smith finished in fourth position, they are riding the Aprilia RSA 125. Julián Simón finished second in the inaugural season in Moto2, with teammate Mike Di Meglio finished in twentieth position at power Honda, Suter chassis. Aspar rider, Hector Barbera finished in twelfth position in MotoGP, he was riding a Ducati Desmosedici GP10.
